Expo Cheong-nyang + Jin
Expo Cheong-nyang is an alternative exhibition space opened in Cheong-nyang-ni, Seoul, South Korea in 2015 May. In 2010s, there was big movement from young artists and curators to create affordable exhibition spaces.
        The founding members named  this space “Expo” which could bring the Korean millenials’ common memory of Daejeon Expo 93. The Expo was the biggest event in our childhood held in the middle of the longest economic boom in Korea.
The logotype is designed to reflect the symbol of the Expo, a tall tower. The tall (condensed) letters can be legible even when stretched.     
        The second project is a portfolio book for a senior artist Choon-hee Jin. She is an oil painter and educator has been working in South Korea, France and Germany. The book is containing all of her works have been created for the past 23 years (1992-2015).
